I'm a Machine Learning Engineer who specializes in building software that works —and lasts—, and from time to time, I use this site to write about what interests me.

I spend most of my time thinking about the intersection of Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. I'm opinionated and passionate about building good software, and I believe the best way to contribute is to bring others along in my journey.

A long time ago, I built everything you see here from scratch using Python running on Google's App Engine, and I'm still very proud of it. The site is extremely simple because I want it to be about reading and nothing else.
